    I am about to install my mother's 1952 C model Chambers that she shipped to me. I have ordered the safety parts to bring it up to code but need to tell the parts person whether I have a male or female coupling on the thermostat. The trouble is, I have cooked on the stove all my life but have no idea where the thermostat is. Can someone tell me where it is and what it looks like so I can check the coupling on it. Thanks!!

    Hello, you should get the Model "C" Service Manual. You can identify your Thermostat couplings from the diagrams in it. You will also need it to install and adjust the Range for correct operation. You can get the service manual from this hostboard's moderator: Todd White or that nice man on Ebay. Regards, Sam
